AFRICATS

In September, while visiting Essaouira, Morocco, I photographed the town’s resilient stray cats, capturing the essence of the city against its vibrant, narrow streets in my project Africats. Taken just hours before a 6.8 earthquake struck Marrakech, these images reflect both Morocco’s fragility and resilience, celebrating strength and beauty in the everyday.
